Lately, Xiaomi announced on MIUI ROM's Twitter page that it has rolled out the latest version of the Poco Launcher. 

The Poco Launcher is primarily based on the MIUI 9, but with a few significant variations and creature comforts like a colour coded app drawer. The latest version brings in an even cleaner look with semi-transparent backgrounds and a few finished out graphics. It is also visibly smoother and faster. Originally, it was the default launcher for the Poco F1.

What’s new in POCO Launcher?
App drawer
The most significant innovation in the POCO Launcher is the appearance of an app drawer, which MIUI has been missing out on for its beginning well-built public release which is four years ago. The app drawer promptly displays all apps installed on the phone in a grid format.

App categorization
The apps can also be placed in tabs classified according to their genre. The POCO Launcher comes pre-installed with Communication, Entertainment, Tools, Shopping, Finance & Business, Lifestyle, Photography and Personalisation tabs. Apps are automatically classified after they are launched from the Play Store. Though, the order of the apps it can be changed.

The POCO Launcher appears with a search bar on top which facilitates the user to type and search apps. This is particularly helpful while overlooking an app when browsing through app drawer.


Xiaomi today has launched MINT KEYBOARD to offer more typing alternatives for its users. The Mint Keyboard that is composed for the Indian users with AI engine to enhance the expressions and conversations.

The Mint Keyboard confirms 23 Indic languages and perfectly foretells local languages, according to the company. Amongst the Indian subcontinent languages, the keyboard supports Hindi, Nepali, Urdu, Bengali, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Sanskrit, Punjabi, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Assamese, Manipuri, Arabic, Odiya, Konkani, Bodo, Santhali, Santhali, Dogri, Rajasthani, Marwari, Sindhi, and Maithili.
